About Oscar Elizondo TX

Oscar Elizondo, based in Pharr, Texas, is an experienced business leader entering a new phase of his professional journey. After spending years focused on healthcare, he is currently shifting his attention toward the construction industry.

Elizondo has worked across multiple industries throughout his career, and he is now applying his operational experience and financial discipline to commercial and residential construction and remodeling projects across Texas. As demand continues to grow, he is also expanding into home services to support a wider range of client needs.

Oscar has not approached this transition without preparation. His move into construction is supported by years of involvement in real estate investment and project management. This background enables him to manage complex projects while maintaining clear standards for planning and execution. His work focuses on delivering durable structures while meeting the growing demand across both residential and commercial sectors.

Early Professional Career and Corporate Foundations

Elizondo graduated from the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He began his career in corporate tax preparation and accounting, working with mid-sized and large organizations. These early roles helped him build a strong understanding of financial systems, budgeting, and operational efficiency.

Oscar Elizondo of Pharr, TX, later advanced to a regional manager position at ADP Payroll Processing, Inc., where he was responsible for expanding business operations across South Texas. His role included building client relationships and supporting strategic growth initiatives. His work in this position led to recognition as Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year, reflecting his consistent performance and dedication.

Embarking on Real Estate and Construction Ventures

Oscar Elizondo became active in real estate before fully transitioning to construction. After earning his real estate license on his first attempt, he worked as both an investor and agent, buying and selling more than $20 million in property between 2012 and 2018. This experience strengthened his ability to evaluate property value, understand market demand, and manage transactions.

Oscar’s connection to construction began earlier, in 2003, when he started building homes alongside his cousin Rudy Elizondo. What began as a side effort gradually developed into a more structured path. Over time, he remodeled his own properties and refined the skills that later supported his business direction. In 2019, he established Zondo Construction and Zondo Roofing, overseeing residential homes, apartment complexes, and commercial buildings across South Texas.

Elizondo also focused on renovation and restoration, particularly on remodeling churches, commercial buildings, and residential properties. These projects require coordination, structural understanding, and attention to detail. His work reflects an effort to maintain the original integrity of structures while improving functionality, efficiency, and long-term durability.

Oscar expanded his services by strengthening his roofing operations, which are in high demand across Texas due to regional conditions. He is also exploring the addition of foundation repair services to offer a broader range of construction solutions.

Construction Leadership

Elizondo leads construction projects with a focus on clear timelines, accountability, and coordination among all involved parties. Whether managing new construction or remodeling projects, he emphasizes quality artistry and efficient execution.

Oscar works closely with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure projects remain aligned with expectations. His ability to connect financial planning with on-site operations helps keep projects on schedule and within scope. He has also built long-term relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and local stakeholders, supporting smoother project delivery and consistent results.

Community Involvement and Personal Life

Elizondo remains active in his community while managing his professional responsibilities. He has served on the Economic Development Board in Pharr, where he lives. His involvement reflects a continued interest in supporting regional development and infrastructure growth.

Oscar also contributes to nonprofit and youth organizations. He has held leadership roles with Boys and Girls Clubs, economic development corporation boards, and Lions Clubs, and has coached youth sports.

Elizondo spends his personal time cycling, running, fishing, hiking, and watching Texas Longhorns games. As a father, he supports his children as they pursue careers in healthcare, maintaining a connection to that industry.

Oscar Elizondo continues to focus on growth and development in his professional life. Through his work in construction, remodeling, and roofing, along with plans to expand into foundation repair, he remains committed to improving spaces that serve communities across Texas.
